Shetland Heritage Hat Pattern
Paper copy of the Shetland Heritage Hat, a classic fair-isle design by Lesley Smith. It's knitted in the round in stranded colour work, the pattern has a combination of written instructions and charts. The pattern uses Shetland Heritage yarn, you will need 1 ball each of shades Fluggy White, Auld Gold, Peat, Madder, Berry Wine & Indigo;
You will also need the following:
2.5mm x 40cm circular needle
Set of 5 2.5mm x 20cm double pointed needles
Stitch marker & a tapestry needle
Tension
4”/10cm = 36 stitches & 44 rows over fair-isle after washing.
