New Shell is an easy and effective Shetland Lace motif, worked on garter stitch the increasing and decreasing to create a chevron pattern, it is worked with one colour at a time, allowing for single or multiple colours in the project. The colour changes always take place on the right side of the work. The pattern is created over two rows but the second-row is always knit. Kit contains pattern and yarn to knit a New Shell scarf in Shetland Heritage.
