Croft DK Hillside

The Croft Shetland DK is part of our ongoing collaboration with West Yorkshire Spinners, offering a beautifully soft Double Knit yarn made from 100% Shetland Wool. The range includes a stunning palette of solid and complementary tweed shades, each developed to reflect the rich heritage and colourful landscape of the Shetland Islands.

This yarn has been treated to be machine washable, making it especially suited for practical garments, children’s knitwear, and everyday use. It maintains the beauty of Shetland Wool while adding convenience for modern life.

Yarn Details

• 100% Shetland Wool
• Double Knit weight
• 100g hank – approx. 225m / 246yds
• Suggested needle size: 4mm
• Machine wash at 30°C
• Reshape whilst damp
• Do not tumble dry

Tension / Gauge

• 22 sts x 28 rows = 10cm (4in) on 4mm needles in stocking stitch
