New grandbaby on the way means a new shawl . Absolute no brainer to buy this perfect yarn . It knits lace beautifully and has a gorgeous softness after washing that's just perfect for a new born .

This yarn is ideal for knitting Haapsalu Shawls or Orenburg Shawls. It is wonderfully light and warm.
For Shetland Shawls I prefer the thinner Shetland Supreme Lace Weight.
