Paper copy of the Arhippa pattern by Outi Kater, Arhippa is an old Karelian name meaning 'the master of horses'. The stitch pattern in Arhippa Mittens was inspired by traditional Karelian weaving and knitting patterns, that are thought to have their origin in ancient mythology. The pattern includes instructions for four sizes (baby's, child's, women's and men's) in different colour combinations.
