This kit features a hat, mittens and neckwarmer pattern, it is a replica of a set J&S employee and knitter Sandra Manson gifted Dr Alexander Kumar. The hat is reversible, to suit your mood and give extra cosiness. The neckwarmer is knitted in the round using the Fair Isle technique. Pattern rounds use two shades of yarn, and the shade not in use should be stranded loosely at the WS of the work, taking care not to pull too tight and pucker the fabric. The mittens are knitted in the round from cuffs to fingertips. The thumb is added using the ‘afterthought’ method. This kit contains the Yarn and Pattern to knit the Hat, Mittens and Neck warmer, it is made in the world-renowned 2ply Jumper Weight.
