Paper copy of the Finnish Midwinter Ski Hat designed by Outi Kater, it is knitted in the round into a rectangular shape without any complicated shaping. The top of the hat is finished using the three-needle cast-off method.

Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight ñ 100% Real Shetland Wool (115m/ 125yds/ 25g ball)
Yarn A ñ Shade 1403: 2 x 25g balls
Yarn B ñ Shade 27: 2 x 25g balls
You will also need:
2.75mm (UK12/ US2) short DPNs, set of five
2.75mm (UK12/ US2) long DPNs, set of two
2.75mm (UK12/ US2) circular needle, 60cm /24in long,
or sizes needed to obtain tension
Stitch markers or waste yarn
