Shetland Chunky

This chunky yarn is worsted spun from Shetland combed tops, available in eight shades. It is heavier than Aran weight and is used in making Icelandic type garments.

Weights and measures: 100% Shetland wool, 100g (3.5 oz), 120m (131yds), 2/2.5nm.

Tension:                       18sts and 26 rows= 10cm / 4in using 4.5mm (US size 7) needles.

Fab yarn, which was quickly dispatched. The colour on the website was very accurate, and as usual the quality is wonderful. Such a shame that the Shetland Chunky range looks to be discontinued!
