Eastlake Mens' Slipover (Kit)

Eastlake is a Fair Isle project suitable for more advanced Fair Isle knitters. It is constructed in Jumper Weight yarn, worked in the round using steeks. This kit of yarn will fit all sizes from 36 - 52" Chest.

This pullover was designed by Varian Brandon.

With a solid family background in handcraft, over the years Varian Brandon has developed a passion for colour combinations of Fair Isle and a love for the intricacies of cable work.Varian’s favourite designers include Alice Starmore and Kaffe Fassett from whom she took classes while on a knitting tour of the Shetland Islands and the Outer Hebrides. Her academic studies of architectural design and world history have supported and fuelled her interest in traditional knitting techniques and designs as well as an appreciation to the scores of knitters who have cultivated and continued the traditions of Fair Isle and Aran design. 

Varian coordinates a knitting and quilting retreat in the Appalachian Mountains in the USA and is currently working on her own collection of designs with J&S yarns, in addition to those commissioned by us.
