A cosy gansey, with seamless construction, saddle shoulder shaping, twisted stitch cables, and a detachable cowl collar, inspired by the maritime heritage of the Port 'O Leith. Knit in Shetland Chunky this Jumper and Cowl  has a 12 page pattern booklet includes two patterns for gansey and collar, full charts, photographic look book, detailed schematic and sizing table, and a short essay exploring Leith’s historic connections with the Scottish wool trade. This kit contains the yarn to knit both the gansey and the cowl.

Size 1: 36", Size 2: 39", Size 3: 42", Size 4: 45", Size 5: 48", Size 6: 51"

You will also need:

5mm needles (or size to get gauge) in following lengths: 
60 (or 80) cm for working body; 80 (or 100) cm for working yoke and sleeves (you can use dpns if preferred) 
4.5mm needles (or size below your gauge-size) in the following lengths: 
60 (or 80) cm for working rib on body 
80 (or 100) cm for working rib on sleeves (or dpns if preferred). 
Stitch markers of 2 types (A and B); waste yarn for provisional cast on (collar) and holding sts (gansey) ; tapestry needle; cable needle (if required).
