Strange that the pattern was not included in the pack and had to be ordered separately at additional cost of course and arrived well over a week later than the wool - disappointing.

Thank you for the feedback. it is clearly stated on the product page that it is a yarn pack and the pattern is not included, you could have purchased the pattern at the same time as the kit or downloaded it directly from the Shetland Wool Week website.

My hands are itching to get started on this project, the wools all look so pretty. (I'm currently working on another, bigger project which is about 3/4 complete and I don't like having stacks of unfinished works in progress.) I'm really looking forward to knitting this and watching the design appear as I work the pattern.
I would definitely recommend this kit - and having the pack with all the wool you need already picked and packed for you makes ordering really easy.

A beautiful design with the most gorgeous jewel-like colours. Yarn is rich in colour and does not split on working. Knits up with great stitch definition and once completed I know this company has many other beautiful colours in their range which I will knit this design in again - though it might take a while to choose as you are spoilt for choice with the range of colours!
